I couldn't wait to get a blue butterfly with red polka dots painted on my cheek. I had to sit really still. When I got home from the carnival it was time for me to take a nap but I wouldn't let Mama pull the covers up too close to my face. I had to protect my beautiful blue butterfly.
I also got a pretty brown flower (henna tattoo) on my hand. The girl who gave me this tattoo had to use a blow dryer when she was done to help the paint dry and I was a very big and brave girl.
Plus, Pop Pop let me eat a whole bag of blue cotton candy - do not tell Mama!
The best part of the whole carnival though... I sent daddy swimming in the dunk tank.
I was a little worried at first (I'm not sure how good of a swimmer daddy is - he mostly takes showers not baths) but he was wearing a survival suit (like the crab fishermen from the TV show Deadliest Catch) so I knew he would be just fine. However, I think he looked more like Muno from one of my favorite Nick Jr. TV shows called Yo Gabba Gabba than a crab fishermen!
