Christmas in Canada

Christmas in Canada was a blast!

Instead of sledding - we went tobogganing!!! Grandpa and Grandma Matthews took me and my cousins Maggie, Jena, and Keeleigh. We had to dress up really warm because it was very cold outside. I don't think the temperature got above zero degrees celcius while we were visiting.
I got to go horseback riding at Uncle Nathan's house. I rode a horse named Feisty! He was big and brown and very soft.
I also rode another horse. He was small and bald and a little funny lookin'. He wasn't quite as 'fiesty' as the other horse and he had to stop more often to take heavy-breathing breaks but he's my Grandpa and he sure knows how to make my giggle with glee. Giddy up Grandpa!
I helped Grandma, Maggie, Jena, and Keeleigh decorate a gingerbread house. Well - I did more eating of the decorations than actual construction but it's the thought that counts right?
I played ping pong on Grandma and Grandpa's new ping pong table. I found out that I am a natural but I really liked watching Uncle Nathan and Auntie Leith play each other. It was getting a little competitive though and there were a lot of black marks on Grandma's wall so we had to put the paddles up and take a break.

I pretended to ride the train the Polar Express with Grandpa. I liked being the conductor and I asked Grandpa to be Santa. We had three passengers along for the ride... white bunny, brown bunny, and tweety bird.
I got to dress up in a fancy dress from Grandma Matthews and take a picture with my cousins (from left to right) Jena, Keeleigh, and Maggie. Don't we look beautiful and we all match too!
Most importantly I got to meet my new baby cousin (the first boy cousin) Jesse Earl. He is named after both of his Great Grandpa's.
I bought him this little outfit. Doesn't he make a cute reindeer?
I was very proud because I got to hold baby Jesse all by myself.

I also got to kiss and hug him.
I had a wonderful time playing with my cousins and visiting my Grandpa, Grandma, Aunts, and Uncles.
I can't wait to see them all again this summer. By then, I will have a new little baby brother or sister and Uncle Nathan and Auntie Leith will be close to having their first baby too!
