However this was an especially cool birthday because my Uncle Nathan and Auntie Leith were visiting from Canada and they got to come too!
I guess someone (and when I say someone I am referring to my GRAMMY CAMPBELL) thinks that I am really special because I had two birthday cakes! I am hoping that this tradition keeps up and that I get three birthday cakes next year. Thinking ahead on this subject... my sweet 16th birthday would be 'truly' sweet with 16 birthday cakes GRAMMY!
My girlfriends and I decided to eat the cake daintily with our pointer fingers first and then with forks a little later (as they were speedily provided after we began our initial descent on the icing). It may not have been the most well-mannered way to go about eating birthday cake but in our defense, it was not the most intelligent idea to put a large tasty birthday cake down on a table in front of six little girls without forks!
As you can tell (by looking at the above photo) the cakes were definitely satisfactory!!!Next it was time to open gifts. I got so many special presents. I am such a lucky girl!
I especially enjoyed reading my NEW BROWN BEAR BOOK in my NEW ARIEL LAWN CHAIR (it is extremely awesome - it's the lounging type of chair).
I even read my new book to my friend Brooklyn. She is still working on being an attentive listener and respectfully tuning into the reader.
I had so much fun playing at the park with my friends...
... but I think DADDY might have had MORE FUN playing with his friends. He got to play frisbee! Those big boys were laughing so loud and running into each other all over the place. I think Mommy said it's because they are 'still little boys at heart!'
I had such a wonderful 2nd Birthday! Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me.
