Fur Rondy Fun

Grammy, Pop-Pop, Uncle Pooh, Daddy, Mommy and I all went to see the snow scultpures that are carved every year at this time for the Fur Rondy Festival!

I was all geared up, plastered in pink, and ready to go!
I really liked this snow sculpture; it was exceptionally done. The snow was carved into an Alaskan Native attempting to kayak away from a large ocean wave overtaking him.
The above snow sculpture was one of my favorites. The snow was carved into a group of Native Alaskans riding atop a humpback whale.
I really enjoyed playing in the snow that day! I kept throwing it up in the air and giggling as it tickled my face on its way back down to the ground.
