Interestingly enough, Avrey spent her First Valentine's Day at home with Mommy, Daddy, and the Cable Guy. Mommy felt sorry for the cable guy because he had to work on Valentine's Day so she generously gave him a box of chocolates because she always gets too many to eat from her First Grade students!
What did Avrey want for Valentine's Day? Chocolate? Candy? A teddy bear? Nope - just to play with the helium balloon off of a flower arrangement that Mommy received from another student in her class. It's true what they say... it is the little things in life that count.
